About Us

Southern Cross Archery Club is an outdoor archery club located on Pennel Reserve in Braybrook, in Melbourne's inner west. Established in the 1940s and formerly based in Footscray; Southern Cross Archery Club provides a cosy, social environment for people to experience archery. The club provides a range of services and activities for both experienced archers, and people only considering archery which includes Come 'N' Try sessions with equipment provided, and regular training and events for members.

The club facilities currently include an outdoor range appropriate for up to 90m distances, 5m indoor shooting with tuning workbenches to ensure you bow is tuned correctly, various bow maintenance tools and bow storage in our main clubhouse space, targets with replaceable parts as required, and much, much more!

Our club members also regularly attend who are more than happy to provide expert, technical advice on all things archery, whether that be compound, recurve, general questions, we are happy to help!
